I’m just over here channeling my inner Julia – I mean Juliette, on this balcony, waiting for my Romeo! Sometimes a girl just needs a pretty dress, for a pretty day or a pretty occassion. As soon as I slipped on this piece from Gal Meets Glam, the new dress collection by Julia Engel, I felt transformed. Every single one of her pieces is feminine, classic, and timeless – carrying a nod to the days past. There is something effortless in each dress, from the flowy fabrics to the charming silhouettes and details.
I picked the Jane Dress from her spring line. One of the reasons I chose it was because of the Cherry Blossom color. This is the perfect shade for the season, and it makes me feel so girly! I feel as though sometimes I shy away from my feminity, but I love that Julias’ dress collection, allows me to embrace, embody and celebrate it, in such a sophisticated way. We spent some time at Wrigley Mansion, built in the 1930’s by American chewing gum industrial William Wrigley Jr. of Wrigey Bubble Gum. It is listed on the National Registrar of historic places. It has a 360 degree of the valley, with views of Camelback Mountain and Squaw Peak. This place is absolutely epic! And absolutely glamorous!
I couldn’t STOP twirling in this dress! The crepe fabric is so breezy and has the most beautiful rhythm when you move! I’ll just be here twirling waiting to be whisked away to a dance floor, or somewhere on the beach under the stars.
Picture overload, but we had the best time exploring this picturesque place in such a beautiful dress! Make sure to give Julia some love and check out her dress collection available at Nordstrom!
